Modern City Living with Great Amenities

The Forum, B5

Apr 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in The Forum, Birmingham offers a lot of positives. It's right in the city centre, so shops, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets are all close by. The Bullring and Grand Central are just a short walk away, which makes shopping and dining super convenient. Transport links are excellent, with Birmingham New Street and Moor Street stations close by, plus plenty of bus routes. Parking is limited, you need to ask when you move-in. The area around The Forum is generally lively but can get a bit noisy on weekends due to the nightlife. Bin collections are consistent, and the building itself is secure and well-maintained. Overall, it’s a great place to live if you enjoy city life and want everything within easy reach.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive and helpful. Kary was very helpful during move-in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Another thing I wish I had known is that the outside maintenance works can sometimes be a bit noisy, especially during office hours. Overall the building has everything, the location and amenities are great!

The design of the flats is truly beautiful and simple

Sofia Silva (Tenant)

Paradise View, B1

Apr 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living at Paradise View has been great. It’s so convenient to be right in the city centre, close to everything I need. Despite the central location, there’s no traffic noise in my room, and the social areas are quiet and peaceful—perfect for working from home or reading a book. One thing that could be improved is the bin collection; better management would really help. Also, finding a more efficient solution for the parking area would make things even better and more attractive for the future residents.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

"I haven't had any experience yet, but my neighbours said the response was really good and fast."

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly, I’d appreciate more information about how the deposit is handled, upcoming payments, and how to sort out things like council tax, electricity, and general household responsibilities. I think the agency could consider being more flexible, even if someone’s annual income doesn’t exactly meet the requirements. I do understand the system, but offering alternative solutions could really help tenants manage things more smoothly—just a thought. That said, the agency has been very supportive, especially Ahmed. I’d definitely recommend Paradise View!

Nice place to live and convenient location

John (Tenant)

The Silver Yard, B4

Apr 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very central and close to major transport (bus, trains). Can get busy outside though during peak communiting hours. A small selection of shops around its vicinity, but it not too far from others.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and professionally. Had some issues within the flat that they prioritized to resolve. Though it took time, you can see the effort to fix it as soon as possible

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Real council tax banding wasn't available beforehand.
